In vintage racing you’ll find many unique characters, people with a passion for vintage cars and for the joys and challenges of racing. This episode's guest, Kent Bain, is one of those people.

In 1978 Kent started Automotive Restorations in Stratford, Connecticut, one of America’s premier restoration shops for vintage cars. Born from that was Vintage Racing Services which prepares and supports all types of vintage car racing, including rallies such as La Carrera Panamericana.

I sat down with Kent, who’s been both a La Carrera driver and mechanic, to talk about the spirit and history of the race, Carrera cars, and what makes good rally driver.
